CalReply powers 2014 Tour de France calendars worldwide

From football to cycling, here at CalReply we are fond of sport, as one great sporting event ends another begins. 198 riders, 59 nationalities,  22 teams covering 3,664km over 21 stages in 23 days, 3.5 billion viewers worldwide will tune in to watch this test of fitness, grit and determination, this is a truly spectacular display of human performance. CalReply is making sure you get to see all 3,664km of the race by reminding you when to tune in to watch the stages live.

CalReply has partnered with SBS, the  Australian broadcasters of the Tour de France to drive tune-in across various mediums. SBS has used television commercials, web links and social media as their preferred medium to communicate CalReply to their audience. This year, the tour started in England so the British broadcaster ITV wanted to make sure they maximised audience tune-in, turning to CalReply to do so. ITV has used television commercials, social media and their website as their preferred medium to communicate CalReply to their audience.

France

FranceTV Sport, the French broadcaster of the Tour de France, is using CalReply to enable calendar reminders during the 2014 race, in French. CalReply supports multiple languages (including right to left languages) making it easy for international broadcasters to integrate with our service in their local dialect.  Viewers of the Tour on FranceTV Sport will be reminded when each stage begins, then they will be reminded again when there is 10km to go so that viewers can tune in to the most exciting part of the race as riders sprint across the finish line in pursuit of the yellow jersey, or "maillot jaune".
